Paul O’Hagan was formerly an English teacher in various countries such as Spain, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait where he missed the war in 1989 by six days. After wandering around the world for a few years he came to Taiwan in 1993. He stayed for six years living and working in Taipei, Taoyuan and Hsinchu, teaching students at all levels. He left with his wife and daughter to go to Britain in 1999 and has recently relocated to Dublin, Ireland. He has written several textbooks for the Chinese-language market.
曾任出版社翻譯、編輯。台灣大學醫學系、德國美因玆大學（Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz）翻譯研究所畢業，現於該校攻讀博士。譯有《英文文法聖經》（寂天文化出版）、《睡夢天堂》、《沒有課桌椅的教育》（高寶國際出版）、《25種自然抗壓療法》（美商麥格羅希爾出版）等書。
