常常遇到許多班上的學生向我抱怨：『曾老師，閱讀測驗裡那些好長好長的句子，每個單字我都認識，但是湊成一整句後，我就看不懂了耶~怎麼會這樣呢？』
相信這個困擾一定很多人都遇過，文章的閱讀能力的確也是許多孩子們在英語學習路途上的一大難關，那些冗長的句子老是會讓人不由自主的產生恐懼。
我常常告訴學生，這些落落長的句子其實一點都不可怕，只要掌握了句型結構，加上一定程度的字彙量，再長再複雜的句子，要看懂絕對一點都不難。
不過鑒於對句子產生恐懼的學生數量越來越多，我跟我英語團隊的優秀老師們便開會討論，希望可以撰寫一本解決擁有患有『長句子恐懼症』的句型書，幫助所有英語學習者在學習的路上建立更強的自信心。
因此，我們經過完整的提案以及數不盡的討論會議之後，驕傲地共同著作了這本《英文句型，原來如此》。
在書中，我們將國、高中所有會使用到的句型，依照程度劃分為六個Level，共72個句型，獨家研發出全新的學習方式──「點線面制勝法」，希望能利用此方法，將以往學習複雜又枯燥句型及文法的挫折感一次殲滅，並且透過『點線面制勝法』，先了解「句型點」─72個句型，接下來延伸到「會話線」─72段生活會話，最後掌握「文法面」─6個文法大補帖專欄。
在學習這72個句型的過程中，不知不覺地也慢慢吸收了72種生活會話，反覆練習之後，文法觀念也能深植腦中。

英文句型原來如此這本書，內文版型很清楚，字體大小也很適當，重點是裡面有分級，有告訴我們是國中或是高中哪個階段，這種階段性的學習方式，很好閱讀，也容易了解自己的程度，如果常常搞不清楚什麼樣的文句適合用什麼樣的句型，或是有些文法上容易誤解的英語學習者，我建議可以去看這本，真的不賴!
